Alphena's favorite song:
Dear Pine Tree Legal Services,
My friend Alphena Latham told me on 3 different occasions she was punched by staff at the Borderview Nursing Home, in Van Buren, Maine.

Borderview's Facebook page
Alphena does not like to cause trouble and very probably does not want to sue.
A mutual friend of ours worked at Borderview and told of a woman who worked there and told us her name, and said this woman used to punch everybody, staff and patients.
I filed a report at DHHS Elder Protective Services and Borderview fired the woman for about a week and hired her back, I was told.
Alphena told me she was punched and kicked again.
Also Alphena's favorite song:
I posted on the Borderview Nursing Home Facebook page that I was angry and shared a post of theirs to my page explaining what happened.
Then Alphena told me a man had punched her in the face.
I explained that I was angry and what would happened to the man if he punched Alphena again on the Bordervoew Facebook page, and filed another complaint with Protective Services.
The man in charge of Borderview, Robert, quit or was fired after 30 years of service at the facility and all the comments seemed to imply he did a good job.
Alphena told me the man who punched her in the face is still there, works there and stays there in his own room overnight.
I do politics online, I was a Bernie supporter and have been shot at, hit by cars multiple times and evicted from many places probably because of it.
I would like to know the names of the people who punched Alphena.
I am diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and Alphena will be 90 in November, and gets a little confused talking.
She saved my life twice, once when I had been first evicted and my shoes got wet and then froze the next morning and I couldn't feel my feet, she let me into her house to warm up and another time when I had been shot at in Madawaska and she picked me up in her car so I could help her clean her house for her son's visit.
I gave her the Heimlich Manuever 3 times when she was choking. It really works !
We look after each other.
Her son Mark Latham evicted me from her house during the eviction moratorium and he did not self quarantine after driving up from Florida.
Borderview blocked me from visiting Alphena after she was punched and after I tried to use online pressure to get them to let me visit her, finally told me it was her son who told them to not let me visit her.
Borderview mentions one covid case on their fb but U S News and World Report says they had 3, and they let Mark visit Alphena for a few minutes without Mark being Covid tested or him quarantining for 14 days.
Alphena's sister said she thinks it is Borderview keeping me from visiting.
Mark has control of her money and I do not want anything from Alphena and I am not trying to take advantage of her, but I would like to protect her as much as I can.
I put pressure on the town manager who got me this apt so Alphena could leave borderview if the pandemic spread to it.
Alphena says she is very happy at Borderview, but she would like more visitors and she keeps asking me when I am going to visit her.
Can Mark legally keep me from visiting his mother ?
In short, I would like to be able to visit Alphena, I would like to know what is going on at Borderview that caused Alphena to be punched and kicked, I would like to know who punched and kicked her and why.
Thank you, you've helped me in the past.

Nick is the temporary manager:
Robert left in December, after the incident where Alphena said she was punched by a man:
so mark said he had a female friend from high school who was in charge somewhere at borderview and mark apparently is blocking me from visiting my friend, but won't say why
i realized this is an antagonistic act by whomever is behind it and so decided i was going to write about mark, justin and roger to try to find out just w t f is happening - but since somehow i got to visit with alphena for a few moments when she was finally allowed to leave borderview for visits, i will try to write about all of this diplomatically and not antagonistically
