in 1985/86 i fell off a roof and lost my memory in williamstown, mass, where dr william wooters invented teleportation - after meeting a girl named cathy in rochester where xerox, who invented the computer graphics interfaces we use here, was headquartered - when i broke a spoke in sodus point, ny, and had to hitchhike into the city to get a spoke to replace the broken one in my rear wheel

i met the vending machine repairman who was high on intellectualism on the last ride i got into the city

my bike got stolen - or re-appropriated ? while cathy and i were out at a club

later, cathy left for florida and i hitchhiked home angry and vengeful

after i fell off the roof dave, who invented a vortex camping stove,  and i were working on, i completely forgot about cathy - didn't remember ever meeting her, and she was very memorable ! 

i heard the lovely and oft played 'wuthering heights' on the college station about 6 months later and the memories of cathy suddenly returned -  it became a favorite song  - loved the guitar solo !

i had seen cathy before i met her tho when i had a dream around 1974-5 of a pretty girl and two strange beast like cartoon men 

i woke up and could still see them for a while and i didn't know what to do about it - was the girl in danger ? were the two cartoon men a threat ?

of course, we all know who the two cartoon men are now, and the pretty girl was cathy, i had sent them back in time to protect her when i was having a horrible fight in my mind with some of the people i see here now (and still fight with) after i found a hypnotic trigger in 1997

i had sent the two cartoon like men back to protect her because i believed they were the two toughest people in the universe

so apparently time travel is real, at least in our minds

the two cartoon men were wolverine and sabertooth
